United Methodist Women

UMW welcomes all women, youth through adults.  This is a caring group of women, with a focus on meeting needs within our church and community,  as well as various missions throughout the world.   The UMW  includes two circles, The Sowers and The Gleaners.  Described below, they meet at different times to adapt to those who may work outside the home. The entire UMW unit meets six times a year.

United Methodist Men

 The United Methodist Men welcomes all men, high school age through adults.  They meet the first Saturday of each month in the Fellowship Hall at 7:00 AM in the morning for  breakfast and a program and/or service work.  Their programs are on various topics of interest to the group, and their projects include cutting and selling firewood and a variety of other service projects around the church and community.  UMM is a nationally-chartered group, with an organizational focus on establishing an atmosphere of Christian Fellowship and support.  This group also sponsors small groups that meet on a weekly basis.  For more information, contact Eric Hansen.

The Sowers

The Sowers meet in the Fellowship Hall every Tuesday from 9:30-11:00 AM.  They share prayer request, refreshment, and a wide variety of programs provided by members of the group.  This group has a reputation for answered prayers!

The Gleaners

The Gleaners  meet in the Fellowship Hall on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 PM.  Their programs include Bible studies and other topics related to Christian values and life styles.  The Gleaners meetings provide a great time of fellowship with a caring supportive group of ladies. 

Disciple Bible Study

Disciple Bible Study is an in-depth Bible study for youth and adults.  Classes meet weekly form September through May.  They are taught by our pastor or other trained instructors, using the Bible, a study manual, and a videotaped introduction to each class session.  The purpose of this study is to make disciples through  in-depth study of the Scriptures.  Each class consists of  a small group committed to studying together weekly for the 32 weeks of the class.  Disciple Study has several group levels from Baby Boomers to Advanced.

The Spouses of Deployed Soldiers

This group meets each Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m.  This is a support group for spouses of your soldiers that need a place to share and/or vent and fid support through friends and church family.  All military spouses are welcome.  Child care is provided.  For more information contact the church office.
